Youth, it is said, is wasted on the young .... and there's a certain truth to that which can't be denied.

But, were it not for youth, we wouldn't do the things we did and wouldn't, therefore, become the wiser for it as a result ... so, it's not true either.

I think I still dislike young people on principle though — it's the thought that counts.
