You absolutely should not be using the app, no.

You shouldn't be using any app for which there is a web based interface — your email, YouTube, FB, IG, any of it ... if you can access it with a webbrowser, you shouldn't be using the app!

In fact, you know as well as I do that you shouldn't be using FB, IG (which is the worst of the lot for dataslurp), Snapchat, or any of the others anyway, but ... if you are going to drop your underwear in the middle of the street then the least you should be doing is wearing a long skirt to hie your shame — and ... unless you're prepared to go to other lengths ¹ ... you can't do that, if you're using an app, because you aren't in control, they are, and you can't install blockers/spoofers, like you can in a browser.

¹ Lengths you should also go to, if you care about your privacy and the security of your device, but won't ².

² Because you find condoms a moodkiller and prefer to rely upon the rhythm method of contraception ³.

³ Just without all the faff of doing any of the necessary calculation ... or abstaining from risky activity on that basis .

⁴ So, it's less the rhythm method of contraception and more "no contraception of any kind" but, hey, on the plus side, at least you don't have to figure out any steps ... so, that's a point in its favour.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
