Yeah, the last couple of months, as I said, it's been shocking.

It’s not like I ever read that much of it anyway … exactly like you “I just scan the articles for anything that looks interesting” … but occasionally, I’d read about a topic in RT before I did in any of the other sources, because my feed is simply all my sources by date/time, so whatever source turns up first is what gets read and then I might read others, if the topic is sufficiently interesting/significant.

There was a fair bit of it around already anyway, which struck me as odd, because I’m not aware that Russians ever felt any particularly strong impetus to hide any antisemitic beliefs they might harbour … but it wasn’t as in-your-face as it got once the tone of the articles themselves changed — at which point commentators dropped any (((pretence))) and just started writing stuff about ‘The Jew’ (meaning all Jews, not any particular individual).

I it really does seem to be the US feed that is the worst for it. I’d never seen anything like it before; the articles weren’t exactly what you might term agenda-free, but they weren’t blatantly GOP/Trump as they now are — they’d report on what was going on in the US and, when they covered assertions of Russian influence here, there or wherever else in the World, sure, you could read between the lines and see that they were making Russia out to be innocent of any and all accusations/assertions … but, apart from that, they were, on the whole, reasonably neutral reportage, favouring neither the GOP nor the Dems, The Tories nor Labour, Likud nor … you get the idea, just reportage with an added ‘Russia has no designs upon <whoever/whatever/wherever> and refutes all claims to the contrary by outsiders with agendas and axes to grind.’

Now … well, you saw the article headlines I gave as examples. And they were just four pretty much in a row (four of maybe six) on one day. It’s been getting pretty relentless and not at all subtle … and the comments just shocking.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
