Well, I was just musing aloud, really — I'm no botanist.

But there are, of course, the effects of AGW to consider: the weather conditions I knew as a kid are long since gone and my ability to predict the weather with them — clouds just form out of nowhere these days, without any warning … and other days I can spend hours waiting for the storm to finally start only for it to never come. Trees move more slowly than do we, so they’re possibly even more confused than even me and their responses even wider of the mark than mine; although I suspect they’re way smarter than me, so, when push comes to shove, my money’s on them, not the meteorologists —forget the predictions, go with what the avocados are telling you.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
