The paradox of the human condition is that, to be perfect, one must be imperfect.
But genius is a relative thing and I'm often left thinking of it that 99% of the time what is proclaimed to be genius isn't, but rather a sad indictment of the chronic imbecility of the rest of the human race — I appreciate the whole hindsight thing, but the idea that 'genius' is spotting the obvious when nobody else can should be the first hint that something is seriously amiss (they aren't a genius for spotting the obvious, you're retard for not doing so ¹ ).
