The ironic paradox of this is that I agree with everything you say and yet …

I am better than not merely someone else but everyone else …

… and I really should be in charge:

Because not everyone is “just trying to do the best they can with the cards they’ve been dealt” — some people simply have no conscience or scruples … some are lazy and simply don’t care (they’re alright, Jack) … some are simply bad people, who do others down in order to gain an advantage for no reason other than they enjoy doing so …

You’re right, the World is too complex for us to allow ourselves the luxury of making simplistic judgements … but that doesn’t mean our judgements of others’ failings are always inaccurate — sometimes people’s motivations really are as simple as they seem.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
