The final episode of The Prisoner is utterly bizarre.

Not one episode of the entire third series of Twin Peaks makes any sense whatsoever, never mind wraps up the unfinished tale started in season 2 (https://whereangelsfeartotread.medium.com/gotta-light-90363a591c2d), but, even given that … the final episode is a full-on “WtF just happened!?” moment that makes absolutely no sense even in the context of the third season, let alone either of the first two.
