So long as you completely ignore Marx, that is ... who developed a narrative (rather than myth per se, perhaps) that went on to propehecise a sociopolitical future and whose work was then built upon by the likes of Lenin, Mao, et al, to advance a political agenda with the foundational myth that the working classes are salt of the Earth units of economic and political activity, whose time must inevitably come.
