Open Your Mind
Granted, this isn’t in keeping with my more usual (intense/aggressive/dark) preferences … but it isn’t entirely uncharacteristic either — I used to bounce around, grinning like a loon to this kind of stuff.
And I’m indebted to a friend for, entirely coincidentally, reminding me of that by bringing this to my attention and providing the perfect musical accompaniment to what was already turning out to be a surprisingly good day as it was — so, I thought I’d share it with you.
It’s not big, it’s not clever and, if you’re not careful, you’ll have someone’s eye out with a glowstick, but it has a delightfully childlike simplicity to it and … if you open your mind and let it work that magic on you … it’ll lift your spirits and brighten your day — and you can’t really ask that a piece of music do more than that, now can you? ¹
Yes, yes, I know … who am I and what have I done with Where Angels Fear?
I’m not a performing seal, you know; even I deserve a day off, now and then, on which to relax and enjoy simply being me — just ask Lorraine Heth.
Anyhow … enjoy.

¹ Well, okay, you could … and I frequently do … ask it to make you stomp a wardance, driving you ever harder towards the abyss, over the edge of which you will jump, screaming and foaming at the mouth, ready to take the fight to the entire World (and take no prisoners).
But not today 😀
