Oi

Leaving aside for the moment, my feelings about all the attention you haven’t given me in a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ̶f̶u̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ time, even though I go out of my way to entertain you specifically with many of my posts (in particular a very recent one, but, don’t worry, I won’t oblige you to pretend you didn’t notice again, it’s okay) … because, whilst I may be feeling hurt … very, very hurt … very hurt indeed … as a result of the neglect … I’m not upset … (I’ve grown accustomed to it from a certain type over the years and it doesn’t upset me any more, I just think less of the person in question as a result) … and ignoring the fact that, even though I had no intention of ever doing so … (because it’s the thought that counts after all) … I am now disinclined to surprise you by turning up, unannounced on your doorstep … it will soon be NaNoWriMo … or something equally Teletubby-esque (eh-oh, nanowrimo) in its significance … so, you’ll treat me with even more disregard than usual and …

… and I’ve lost the plot.

No, seriously … not only am I having trouble parsing the above any more but I genuinely can’t remember what I actually came here to say in the first place.

Oh, yeah … that was it …

Why I can’t send you a PM in situ, I don’t know, but the point is that I can’t for some reason … probably because … unlike 99.999% of those I chance upon … I’m treated as persona non grata by your money-grubbing publication … so I’ll have to say it here … the thing I would have said in a PM, that is, if only Medium weren’t the worst publishing platform in the history of publishing; yes, even Geocities was better … you might have noticed that I said as much here … or you might not … I wouldn’t know, because you almost never give any indication of having done so any more … not that I’m upset, you understand … (as I explained, it’s too late for that now … that ship has sailed and I’m not on it) … but, anyway … I don’t want to labour the point … so …

No … no, they don’t.

They spring from the unlikeliest places.

Sometimes they spring from the most unlikely places (usually when the person saying/writing it has a firm grasp of English as she is spoke in Murcia).

But what they don’t do is a redundant adjective/superlative or make use of prepositions unnecessarily.

Okay?

Oh … and you do realise that pasta are just tapas for dyslexic Italians who don’t speak Spanish, yeah?

Alright … as you were — you can haz cheezburger now.

[EDIT]

For some reason, although I can … once again … replace your name with another word, Aura, after I publish, it changes what was a perfectly good link to you with a link to your profile that doesn’t mention your name — why is that?

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
