Oh, you knew I wasn’t seriously chiding you for not helping save the planet and usher in a new, everlasting era of justice for all — Gareth and I are perfectly capable of doing it ourselves.

But if you could be ready to lend support when the time comes to storm the metaphorical barricades, that’d be helpful: attempting to turn public opinion in favour of a radical overhaul of the status quo won’t be easy, I don’t imagine … especially not with the massed media ranged against us … and, tbh, I suspect it’d be better all around, if my name were kept out of it — I could be more of a liability than not, when the time came to throw dirt at me and see what stuck.

You have shinier credentials than do I as the spokesperson of a velvet revolution … so just get ready to make a lot of TV appearances and claim the ideas as your own.

If you can find time and energy in the meantime to help develop said ideas too, that’s be even better though 😉
