No, I really don't..

I'll give a pass to Near Dark ... because Lance Henriksen. Night/Day Watch ... because Russians. And to Salem's Lot, because the jump scares are so good, but that's your lot

Then, of course, there are The Evil Dead and From Dusk till Dawn on the comedy end of the spectrum. I also have a soft spot for Tucker and Dale vs Evil as the one and only 'slasher' I have time for. I'll watch Cockneys vs Zombies every once in a while, because ... despite being dreadful ... the cast is so good, And, naturally, I have Carry On Screaming ... because it's a classic. I'm not sure if Happy! fits in there - it's not Horror as such, but it is pretty horrific (imagine that The League of Gentlemen remade Sin City after watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit whilst tripping on bad acid).

But, other than those ...

Vampires, werewolves, zombies, mummies ...?

Nah ... I don't do Hammer Horror.

You wanna get me with a horror theme then you show me The Thing, Alien, The Ninth Gate, The Devil's Advocate, The Ring ... up to the likes of The X Files, Fringe, Twin Peaks and Dark City on the borderline between horror and not.

It has to be more psychological - slashers and the undead just don't get me squirming ... except with boredom.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
