No, because I never clicked on it.

I couldn’t, because all external material is blocked by default in my browser and I have to authorise (note spelling) individual elements before I can even see them, let alone click on them.

But that’s not the point.

If you can see something then you’ve already been data-mined, because loading it into your browser automatically generates a request (including who, where, when, how) to the server supplying it.

So, even if I don’t click on it, the fact that you’ve linked to it means Twitter know who I am (at least to the extent of knowing about this specific OLP), where and when I saw it, a whole load of other information about me by fingerprinting my browser … and can profile me and my network of connections/contacts as a result — which, in conjunction with other information can be very revealing … potentially even of my real-world identity.

So, no, you’re not responsible for my clicks.

You are responsible for what you post though.
