I've given it a lot of thought over the years (decades!), but ... seemingly ... the World just isn't ready to face the stark reality of what is necessary.

Much like the burns victim insisting that it can't be that bad ... surely amputation isn't the only option to prevent gangrene taking their life ... there must be something else that can be done ... people refuse to accept that there really is only one solution guaranteed to work.
