It’s a bit like the phenomenon of how the wiser and the more informed you are, the more aware you are of how little you know.

Isn’t there a Zen thing about that? There’s a guy who goes by the moniker ‘Ignorant Guru’ … I’m sure it’s based on the whole “I know I know nothing” thing but I’m not altogether sure what the origin is of that latter … and I think it’s supposed to be a joke because it’s arrogant … and, therefore, ignorant … to claim ignorance, because to do so implies an enlightenment to which the truly enlightened would not lay claim (something like that anyway ¹).

¹ It all gets very the set of sets that don’t contain themselves recursive/self-referential/circular/fractal/holographic after a while and I need to stop thinking about it before my mind disappears down the hole in the middle ².

² Or I get stuck … and have to spend a embarrassing hour or two at the hospital …

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
