And, as a second generation, dual nationality immigrant that's what I have been all my life — even in the country of my birth.
Although I do it in a different manner, I'm pretty scathing of the British too (albeit, I give the Welsh and Scots more benefit of the doubt than I do the English).
If it weren't for the fact I know more about English/British and European history and, thus, constitutional matters than do many of them, about their own, I wouldn't be in a position to critique the US either — the parallels are easy to see, if you do though..
