If the government want your data, they'll subpoena it from the very private entities you gave it to — the only way to prevent the government from getting their hands on it is not to give it to anyone.
Furthermore, not giving it to Facebook means that criminals can’t sell it on the darkweb after they hack into it — assuming that 25%-33% of Facebook’s employees don’t sell it to them first …
(and it’s increased to 33% since that last report).
Just say ‘No’ …
