I've been on Medium since 2016, which (as I see from your bio) is quite a bit longer than you, so I humbly submit that my experience here being significantly greater than your own ... and this being far from the first time I have responded to anyone in this manner ... you can safely take it from me that most people don't actually consider it rude unless the response is

1. spam

2. no more than self-promotion

3. irrelevant to the topic at hand

4. unaccompanied by any sort of interaction (as it is rude to not say at least something by way of introduction)

It is, however, your profile/story so feel free to delete my responses, if you wish (I won't be offended) ... or, if you cannot do so, let me know which ones you would like me to remove and I will do so myself — as said, I meant no offence and don't wish there to be any cause for such.
