I do hope this was a freebie.

Because I shall be most vexed indeed to learn that I have used a third of the meagre monthly article allowance allotted those too sensible to furnish their financials to the dilettante amateurs at Medium, only to be further insulted by the use of a potterism — whilst not one hundred percent idiomatically perfect, you have a fine grasp of English and no need to resort to neologisms stillborn of half-rate hacks hawking warmed-over whimsicality and dewy-eyed nostalgia for a past that never was … the neo-colonial underpinnings of which are frankly disturbing; what next … lashings and lashings of Blytonesque racism?

Stop it.

Stop it now.

😜

It’s an otherwise fine tale, however … delightfully pratchettesque … and I shall be reading the others forthwith.

You should write more tales of tabernae vagantes.

Soon!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
