Hmmmmm …

I don’t tend to regard those who aren’t academic as stupid.

I tend to regard as stupid those who have no care for others or the world around them … or those who are lazy thinkers who take the easy route of simply swallowing whole all the nasty misinformation and disinformation that feeds their prejudices — you get the idea … those who could be nicer, kinder people, but aren’t because that would require them to make an effort.

No, I think, on balance, that I’ll continue mocking them for being subhuman lifeforms, slightly below tapeworms on the evolutionary scale; it makes all of us feel less alone and despairing when we see/hear others of similar mind … and that’s a good thing — and I have a moral duty to do good.
