Hmmmm … I’m a Londoner, so, for me, lots of people, traffic and pollution aren’t necessarily a problem

What appeal to me are

1. the anonymity of the crowd — a lot of people to disappear into and be unnoticed
2. the vibrancy — the more ‘underground’ the better (I’m not interested in nice, middle-class entertainment you can take home to meet your parents 😉)
3. the chance to meet like-minded souls

That last one is particularly important to me …
