Everything Comes To S/He Who Waits

The only problem is that only the courageous win — the meek shall only inherit the Earth because they’re too chicken-shit to refuse it … and the good things that come to s/he who waits are the leftovers that those who got there first didn’t want.
Second is first loser — do you really want to come second in your own life?
I should probably explore those ideas some more … write something insightful, erudite, elucidating … but I just can’t be bothered right now and what I really want to talk about is …
Actually, I don’t much care about the mindfulness right now either.
I knew a family once … who lost the remote control to their T.V.
When I say ‘lost’ I mean one of them mislaid it and it wasn’t simply under/down the back of the sofa.
So, rather than taking time and making the effort to look for it any further than that, they spent the following … I can’t remember now if it was eight months or fourteen months but it was a ridiculously long time whatever it was … physically walking from the sofa to the T.V. to change channels/adjust the volume.

Now, before you get carried away, no, that isn’t actually the height of laziness.
The height of laziness is when you can’t even be bothered to purchase a replacement remote control for the T.V. because that would entail going out of your way to do so.
So, instead, you spend your time walking from the sofa to the T.V. to change channels/adjust the volume.

With that in mind, therefore, I have a question: are the laziest people of all the ones who never get around to procrastinating?
