Country Road, Take Me … Oh!

Who taught Beavis his head need be covered when his bunghole is in play ¹ ?

The essence of Country music is this:

My poppa dun abandoned my momma
My sweetheart dun walked out on me
My only friend (the dog) dun died o’ cancer
But the prison guards ain’t dun whuppin’ me

‎‎

Basically, Life started out bad, got worse and is only going to get ever more so.

The more I reflect upon it, therefore, the more it dawns on me that the satirical Country song title

Ever’body’s Gay ‘Ceptin’ Me And My Paw
(And I Ain’t None Too Sure ‘Bout My Paw)

… is actually the distilled essence of the genre 😉

¹ If you felt some sense of shame about raping your own son, younger brother, nephew, cousin, stepson, pupil, choirboy, young parishioner, or whomever … you too might want to cover his head and face up whilst performing the deed.

And your victim might very likely recreate their trauma afterwards in an attempt to exorcise their demons — PTSD frequently expresses itself counterintuitively and there may be more to the behaviour than first meets the eye.

One way or another, there are some questions that could be asked about Cornholio’s origins.

Where Angels Fear

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
