Cheers,

I've been worse though ¹.

In fact, I've been feeling considerably better since Friday/Saturday — getting up and then staying awake for a solid sixteen hours before going to bed again.

So, I'm cautiously optimistic that it was just the last lingering edge of whatever it was, coupled with the usual Sunday malaise exacerbated by the fact that I can't trust the government not to kill the nation as their zeal for personal profit overrides any consideration for the public good and they allow Covid to rage all but unchecked meaning I'm still spending my days in isolation until I find out (probably next year) how bad things get over the coming winter and whether it is finally safe to cautiously venture out to do more than make a quick trip to the cornershop/supermarket before scurrying back indoors for the duration in the hope I didn't catch a life-threatening infection during my quest to obtain enough victuals to preserve my life for a few days more *sigh*

¹ The last three-to-four weeks have been horrible: all the symptoms of flu (but no fever/sweats or sore throat) ... whilst suffering from waves of debilitating fatigue and unable to stay awake for more than four hours at a stretch before passing out again for four-to-eight hours — my sleep pattern has been a mess!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
