As individual human beings, whether in a group or not, we are responsible for our individual in/actions. Anyone claiming otherwise is merely making a pitifully transparent attempt to absolve themselves of their responsibilities.

You can’t say “It wasn’t me, I was just part of a group and had no say in the matter — the group did it.”

Remove every individual from that group and what you are left with is nothing and nobody.

So, if nobody did it then you can let gangs walk free from court because none of them did anything … the group did.

You can excuse concentration camp guards.

You can excuse government corruption.

You can excuse anything and everything done by more than one person.

You can blame the manufacturer of the gun you used to murder someone with because, you were just one member of the group of people who, between them, made it possible for your victim to die when you pulled the trigger.

See … group responsibility is nonsense — it’s as valid as a child saying “But s/he did it first” to excuse their own bad behaviour.

TL;DR: Yes. Really.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live and too rare to die.
